Beyonce bagged a record six Grammys in one night at the 52nd annual ceremony. She was followed closely by pop sensation Taylor Swift who won four. Swift’s triumph was all the more admirable as she is still only 20 years old. However, the night definitely belonged to the former Destiny’s Child lead vocalist as she took her Grammy total to 16.

Bones Are A Bonus.
January 25 2010

My emotions are still running high after going to see The Lovely Bones which stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Saoirse Ronan. Basing the film on the 2002 novel by Alice Sebold, Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong) uses jaw-dropping special effects to visually reiterate the story of a young girl that is murdered and watches over her family and murderer from the afterlife. She must choose whether she wants her killer brought to justice or her family to heal and move on. I strongly recommend this movie. Absolutely spellbinding.

Denzel. Good old Denzel. Mister Washington returns and delivers yet another riveting performance as a man on a mission to take a very important book to its post-apocalyptic destination. The only thing standing in his way is a sinister character, played by Gary Oldman, who will stop at nothing to obtain the book.
